Maine does not use a WPI × weeks formula. Permanent impairment is determined under the Board's impairment guidelines and is used to determine eligibility for extended partial incapacity benefits under 39-A M.R.S. § 213. Wage-loss benefits are subject to statutory duration limits: Before 1/1/2013 = 260 weeks, 1/1/2013–12/31/2019 = 520 weeks, on/after 1/1/2020 = 624 weeks.
