Table 7-6 is used for males. Key factor is History which defines the Class, then grade using physical findings or nocturnal penile tumescence abnormalities. Maximum impairment for Class 4 is 15% WPI. Adjustment for age may be made if younger than 40 or older than 65, as explained on page 143. As noted in “Corrections and Clarifications” (AMA Press, August 2008) on page 11 the rating may be combined with ratings for prostate disease or urinary incontinence.
