Key factor is physical examination findings which defines the Class. Grade within the Class is defined by the History. A typical successful hernia repair will usually result in 0% impairment rating. Maximum impairment for Class 4 is 30% WPI. If there are pain complaints due to residual nerve entrapment see Chapter 13.
