Appropriateness–of-care analysis involves clinical analysis of a case and application of evidence-based medicine and treatment guidelines, such as ACOEM Practice Guidelines, the Medical Disability Advisor and Official Disability Guidelines. Diagnostic evaluation and treatments should be based on science and best practices. We will review cases to determine if actions taken are consistent with evidence-based medicine.
