Scheduled Injury

An injury to a body part with a benefit amount fixed by statute.

A scheduled injury is an injury to a specific body part — such as a hand, foot, or eye — for which the workers’ compensation statute sets a predetermined number of benefit weeks or a fixed value, regardless of actual wage loss.
