Most impairment ratings are based on processes and criteria provided in Chapter 15, The Spine, Chapter 16, The Upper Extremities, and Chapter 17, The Lower Extremities. Cardiovascular problems are rated using Chapter 3 or 4, respiratory problems Chapter 5, digestive system Chapter 6, urinary and reproductive systems Chapter 7, skin Chapter 8, hematopoietic system Chapter 9, endocrine system Chapter 10, ear, nose, and throat structures Chapter 11, visual system Chapter 12, nervous system Chapter 13, mental and behavioral disorders Chapter 14, and pain Chapter 14.
