Christopher R. Brigham, MD is
the Chairman of Impairment
Resources, LLC. He is the
Senior Contributing Editor for
the AMA Guides to the Evaluation
of Permanent Impairment, Sixth
Edition, and was a
contributor/author for several
chapters, including Upper
Extremities, Lower Extremities,
and Spine. With the Fifth
Edition, he served on the
Advisory Committee and as a
contributor. Dr. Brigham is
Board-Certified in Occupational
Medicine (ABPM), Founding
Director of the American Board
of Independent Medical Examiners
(ABIME), Master Fellow, Academy
of Independent Medical Examiners
of Hawaii (AIMEH), a Fellow of
the American College of
Occupational Environmental
Medicine (FACOEM), a Fellow of
the American Academy of
Disability Evaluating Physicians
(FAADEP) with Certification in
Evaluation of Disability and
Impairment Rating (CEDIR), a
Certified Independent Medical
Examiner (CIME), a Certified
Impairment Rater (CIR), and a
graduate of the Washington
University School of Medicine –
St. Louis. He is the Editor of
the AMA publications The Guides
Newsletter and The Guides
Casebook. He was co-author of the
text Understanding the AMA
Guides in Workers Compensation,
Third Edition,
has written over two hundred
published articles on impairment
and disability evaluation and
other texts, chaired the Medical
Advisory Board for the Medical
Disability Advisor, Fourth
Edition, is featured in several
video, audio, and web-based
productions in the medicolegal
field, and has trained thousands
of physicians, attorneys, claims
professionals, and fact-finders,
throughout the US, Canada, and
internationally. He is an
experienced professional
speaker. As a clinician with
over thirty years experience, he
has performed several thousand
independent medical and
impairment evaluations,
providing him with excellent
insight to the complexities of
human potential, impairment, and
disability. As a result of this
experience, he has consulted for
numerous organizations
(including governmental
jurisdictions).

Craig
Uejo, MD, MPH
|
Craig Uejo,
MD, MPH, CIME, QME, CIR, National
Medical Director for Impairment
Resources, LLC, is a board-certified
occupational medicine physician
practicing as an Occupational and
Disability Medicine Specialist with
Sharp-Rees Stealy Medical Group,
Associate Editor of the new edition
of the Guides Casebook, reviewer
of the AMA Guides Sixth Edition,
and an Associate Editor for the
AMA Guides Newsletter. He has numerous
years of experience in Occupational
Medicine, and received his M.D.
from the University of Southern
California - Keck School of Medicine,
did a residency in Occupational
and Environmental Medicine at the
University of California at Irvine,
and received a Master’s Degree in
Public Health from San Diego State
University. He is also a Qualified
Medical Evaluator with the State
of California, Certified Independent
Medical Examiner by the American
Board of Independent Medical Examiners
and a Certified Impairment Rater.
He has extensive experience in the
use of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation
of Permanent Impairment, having
performed and/or reviewed thousands
of cases regarding impairment and
causation/apportionment analyses.

Frederick
Uehlein |
Frederick Uehlein,
Director, has over 38 years
of experience in workers' compensation
insurance practice and has been
Managing Partner and Founder of
a leading Massachusetts law firm
in the field of insurance defense
and, prior to that, advocated for
injured workers claiming workers'
compensation benefits. In addition,
Mr. Uehlein is a frequent lecturer
and writer on insurance claims issues,
second injury fund recovery, COLA
recovery, subrogation recovery,
and litigation management. Mr. Uehlein
is a member of the Workers' Compensation
Trial Lawyers Association, and is
on the Advisory Committee of John
Burton's "Workers' Compensation
Resources." Mr. Uehlein is a Director
of Impairment Resources. He is a
graduate of Boston College Law School
and Trinity College, and is licensed
to practice in Massachusetts and
New York. |

David Jollin |
David Jollin,
Director, has
over 35 years of property and casualty
brokerage experience in the insurance
industry. He has held a variety
of positions with major insurance
brokers, including Johnson & Higgins,
Corroon & Black, and Willis, ranging
from sales and service of large
risk management accounts to senior
management positions. This in-depth
experience has provided broad exposure
to all types of insurance coverages,
claims and claims handling for insurance
companies and large employers, and
has allowed Mr. Jollin to work closely
with many insurance companies to
establish, on behalf of clients,
risk avoidance, effective risk transfer,
and claims handling services. Prior
to joining Insurance Recovery Group,
Mr. Jollin was Chairman and CEO
of Willis of New England. He has
also served on various private school
boards and is co-author of articles
on second injury fund recoveries.
Mr. Jollin is a Director of Impairment
Resources and is a graduate of Brown
University. |

Julie Osborn |
Julie Osborn,
Chief Operating Officer,
has 21 years experience in all aspects
of workers’ compensation claims,
including operations, quality assurance,
training, and compliance. She is
responsible for the organization’s
development, design, operation,
and improvement of the processes
and systems that promote and deliver
superior services to Impairment
Resources' clients. Ms. Osborn is
in charge of operations and through
interaction with clients, sales,
and vendors maintains organizational
and operational excellence. She
identifies and develops claim management
strategies to reduce the overall
cost of claims. Ms. Osborn monitors
and assesses legislative and regulatory
developments to update compliance
procedures as appropriate.
Prior to joining Impairment
Resources, Ms. Osborn was the Director
of Compliance and Operations for
Matrix Absence Management, a third
party administrator. She was responsible
for compliance with state laws,
regulations, internal performance
standards and procedures, cost containment
programs, quality assurance, training,
and external client and insurer
service requirements. Best Practices
were enhanced to ensure client satisfaction.
She developed and monitored processes
and procedures to achieve high quality
and consistent and accurate claim
handling nationally.
She
started her career as a claims adjuster
and throughout the years has been
involved in many facets of insurance.
She has the unique experience of
managing workers’ compensation programs
as the employer, insurance company,
and broker. Her experience includes
auditing files for customers, conducting
safety workshops for their employees,
developing special service instructions
and programs, training, and establishing
effective cost containment programs.
She is a licensed Producer
in multiple states and is an expert
on regulatory requirements in multiple
jurisdictions. |
