Independent Medical Evaluations - Hawaii
Independent medical evaluation (IMEs)
services are provided in Hawaii, at our
Kailua office on the Island of Oahu.
These evaluations are performed by
Christopher R. Brigham, MD who is
regarded as one of the world’s leading
experts on independent medical
evaluations and impairment evaluation.
These high quality IMEs are performed
according to best practices and result
in a clear authoritative report -
provided within one week of the
evaluation. The examinations are
performed in accordance with established
Standards for Independent Medical
Examinations as published in the Guides
Newsletter.
Our goal is to provide clarity
to workers’ compensation, Longshore and Harbor
Workers Act, and other cases, with conclusions
that are unbiased, based on the facts of the
case, and fully supportable. We thoroughly
understand the challenges and issues, including
clinical diagnosis, causation and apportionment,
prognosis, work capacity, maximal medical
improvement, permanent impairment evaluation,
and appropriateness of care.
The evaluations are performed by
Christopher R. Brigham, MD, the President of
Brigham and Associates, Inc., who is
Board-Certified in Occupational Medicine (ABPM),
Founding Director of the American Board of
Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME), a
Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME), a
